Emily Zhu of National Pines Golf Club near Barrie, (pictured above) carded a final-round 82 today and dropped into a tie for 54th at the World Junior Girls Championship.
The 13-year-old was the top Canadian after the first day (tied for 23rd) but finished fourth best on the six-member team.
Best among the Canadians was Celeste Dao of Notre-Dame Ille Perrot, Que. who tied for 24th after rounds of 74-70-76-74.
Second best Canadian was Euna Han of Coquitlam, B.C., who shot 75-77-76-69 and tied for 30th.
The other Canadians in the field and their results were:
T-51 Ellie Szeryk, London, Ont. (76-76-82-78)
59th Monet Chun, Richmond Hill (79-92-82-93)
The individual winner was Seo-yun Kwon of the Republic of Korea who shot 65-70-70-74 then beat Alessia Nobilio of Italy in a playoff.
The team event also ended up in a playoff with Spain defeating Korea.
The tournament was played at The Marshes Golf Club in Ottawa.
