Chris Frook of Cobble Beach Golf Links (above) was among the BruceGreySimcoe golfers who competed this week at the Ontario Men's Mid-Amateur Championship.
Mark Henderson of Barrie Country Club finished tied for 41st at the Ontario Men's Mid-Amateur Championship.
He fired a final-round 76, which moved him up from a tie for 48th.
His first two rounds were 76 and 71 and he was the only golfer from BruceGreySimcoe to make the cut.
The winner was NHL referee and Elmira Golf Club member Garrett Rank, who carded rounds of 64-64-70 for a -12 total.
Missing the cut were Barrie CC golfers David Greenaway (76-78), Dave Mills (80-74)and John Murphy (80-80), Ernie Vettese of Tangle Creek Golf and Country Club near Barrie (76-77) and Chris Frook of Cobble Beach Golf Links near Owen Sound (81-74).
The championship was played at Burlington Golf and Country Club.
