Adam Jordan of Midland Golf and Country Club is tied for 45th after the first day of the Canadian Junior Boys Golf Championship.
He shot 74 and is 7 shots back of Day 1 leader William Duquette of Laval, Quebec, who carded a 67.
Two other golfers from the BruceGreySimcoe region are also competing in the championship, which is being played at Medicine Hat Golf and Country Club.
Michael Ikejani of Barrie Country Club shot 79 and is tied for 116th while Cade Preston of Vespra Hills Golf Club shot 80 and is tied for 130th.
The second round gets under way tomorrow morning.
