Ontario competition now involves 100 teams

More local clubs join Senior Ryder Cup

More local teams will participate in the Senior Ryder Cup this season.

Joining the competition are the following clubs: Bonaire Golf in Coldwater, the Club at Bond Head,  Ainsdale Golf Course in Kincardine and Silver Brooke Golf Club in Lisle.

Saugeen Golf Club near Port Elgin, which has participated for several years, will also enter a second team. That team will play out of Division E, which also includes Ainsdale, Listowel, and Seaforth.

Settlers Ghost

The season-long competition involves no-handicap 2-man matches of various formats at each participating club.

The division winners advance to the championship which is held in September.

The competition has grown over the years and now a total of 100 clubs across Ontario are involved.
