Barrie Country Club member Michael Ikejiani (in photo) finished strong, firing an even-par 70 in the final round of the Canadian Men’s Amateur Championship.
The Minesing resident, whose first three rounds were 81-69-75, finished tied for 46th with a +13 total.
The winner, William Buhl, who is originally from Oslo, Norway but now lives in Fairhhope, Alabama, shot 69-68-67-69 for a -9 total.
The other golfers from the BruceGreySimcoe region missed the cut.

The championship was played at Glen Arbour Golf Course and the Links at Brunello in Hammonds Plains, Nova Scotia.
