Joe McNeil of Hawk Ridge Golf Club near Orillia fired a final-round 71 to finish tied for 19th at the Canadian Junior Boys Championship.
The other golfer from BruceGreySimcoe still in the competition - Michael Ikejiani of Barrie Country Club - shot 73 today and finished tied for 41st.
Missing the cut was Andre Zhu of National Pines Golf Club near Barrie (81-74).
The winner was Christopher Vandette of Summerlea Golf Club near Montreal, Quebec, who posted rounds of 62-69-72-71.
He scored a one-stroke victory over Brady McKinlay of Lacombe, Alberta, who shot 72-70-65-68.
The championship was played at the Covered Bridge Golf and Country Club in Hartland, New Brunswick.
