Three golfers from BruceGreySimcoe finished in the top 10 of the Great Lakes Tour’s Southern Ontario Open at Hidden Lake Golf Club in Burlington.
Drew Nesbitt of Shanty Bay Golf Club (shown in photo) and Mark Hoffman of Wasaga Beach tied for 4th and each collected cheques for $1,725.
Nesbitt shot rounds of 67-69-68-68 and Hoffman had four rounds of 68.
They finished at -12 - seven shots behind winner Robbie Greenwell of Victoria, B.C. (63-72-66-64), who collected a cheque for $8,000.
Barrie’s Branson Ferrier carded rounds of 65-72-65-72 to tie for 8th. He earned $1,250.
Missing the cut was Penetanguishene’s Tyler Marchand (72-73).
The tournament was held from July 12-15.
