Thomas Keddy of OslerBrook Golf and Country Club near Collingwood, Ont. (left in photo) shot a final round 70 (-2) and tied for 18th at the PGA of Canada Assistants’ Championship.
He fired a 71 (-1) Tuesday, which combined with his opening day 73, gave him a -2 total.
The winner, Marc-Etienne Bussieres of Sherbrooke, Quebec, shot rounds of 66-69-66 to finish at -15. Bussieres is the number one ranked PGA of Canada pro.
Keddy has two PGA of Canada victories this season - the Ontario Zone Assistants’ Championship at National Pines GC in August and the Ontario Zone championship at Wyndance Golf Club in July.
Another golfer from the BruceGreySimcoe region - G.W. King of the Academy at Georgian Bay Club - was also in the field at the Assistants’ Championship. He shot 80-69-72 and tied for 43rd.
The 54-hole championship was held at Richmond Country Club in Richmond, B.C.
